Felt and sequins card

The last coupe of weeks I saw all kind of shaker cards. I hate the height of a normal shaker card, but I love the thin ones i've seen. So I tried one of my own.
Die cut the front of a card, adhered two layers of plastic and put some sequins and heart shapes in the pocket.
I made a slit in the side of the card to string the ribbon through and glued the felt flower on top.
Simple but I like it.

I am entering this card in the following challenges: Casual Fridays #135: felt and sequins

Daisy Yellow Prompt 60:#5

Prompt 60 #5: Sharp/blurred and/or poem about the sea.
I saw a YouTube tutorial snout an art journal background created with tissue paper and thought I could use paper napkins for that technique as well. And the top layer is very sharp, but the second layer gives a blurred version. So this technique would be ideal for this prompt. I opened my box of paper napkins and chose a bright colorful one to create a background. I 'glued' the napkin with matte medium. Then I picked up my magazines in search for some sea or water texts that I could use to created a found poem. I finally found an advertorial about a winter holiday on the islands that I cut up and used to create the poem.

Prompt 60 #4: creativity quote.
I used some previously created card background from my stash and cut it up to create a border, outlined it with some matching washi tape (use your stash) and was presented with a white area that should be filled with a quote..
I googled some quotes and found these two: "creativity is intelligence having fun" and "every artist was first an amateur".
I love the colorful look of this page.

Under the cherry blossom tree

I bought this great rubber stamp set around Christmas and I didn't create a card with it yet. When I saw this great design on Pinterest I knew it would be perfect for my cherry tree stamps.
I masked off the border and created a rectangle with Broken China distress ink and the mini blender tool. I am still struggling to get an even background, but I like how it turned out. Unfortunately my card got damaged when I removed the masking tape, so I will need to find some good low-tack tape.
I stamped the cherry blossom branch and the text in memento tuxedo black ink and colored the blossom branch with Copic markers (RV23 and RV29 for the flowers and YG41 and G99 for the branch).

Daisy Yellow Prompt 60 #3

Create a page with margins like a real book and use the colour green.
I painted the border with three different greens. Then remembered a leaves stencil I bought not so long ago and used it to draw onto the border. When it was dry I coloured the vibes and some leaves with a green felt tip marker. Inside the border I added al sorts of green clippings from my stash.

Daisy Yellow Prompt 60 #2

Draw a mandala with teeny, tiny doodle figures. Not in the mood for drawing and with my 2015 motto "use your stash" in mind I looked for some small stamps that hadn't been used yet and created a mandala. In the end I added some doodling and coloring to the image. I don't think this is finished yet..

Daisy Yellow Prompt 60 #1

Find a journal or book to do the prompts in. Add quotes, snippets, findings, lettering and anything else that comes to mind.

Clean and simple birthday card

I made this one-layer, clean and simple card using a Penny Black stamp coloured it using Copics. Then I cut a strip of card and coloured it the darkest green; I added a sentiment with watermark ink and heat embossed it with white. As the finishing touch I added a little piece of red ribbon under the sentiment.

I am entering this card in the C&S challenge.
